Editorial Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
The Lifestyle Bloger UK aims to publish useful, understandable guidance for everyday British life. Our articles should help a reader make a practical decision, understand a trade-off or adopt a manageable routine. This policy explains the basis of that work.
Sources and factual claims
We use relevant primary sources where possible, including manufacturer specifications for product details and authoritative public resources for health or safety information. Sources that support significant factual guidance are linked in the article. An editorial conclusion about which features suit a particular situation is distinguished from a manufacturer’s published fact.
Prices, stock and product ranges can change quickly. We avoid presenting a fixed price as current without a reliable basis and encourage readers to check the merchant’s live information. A source check reflects information available at that point; it does not guarantee that an external page will remain unchanged.
Recommendations and testing
Buying advice is organised around reader needs, such as a small bedroom, a shared kitchen or equipment that is straightforward to maintain. We explain limitations as well as advantages and consider whether an existing item could do the job. We do not invent star ratings, customer numbers, measurements, awards or warranties.
We do not imply that we have bought, used or personally tested a product unless the article expressly explains that work. In the absence of documented hands-on testing, recommendations are editorial assessments based on published information. A practical example is an illustrative scenario, not a fabricated account of someone’s personal experience.
Wellbeing information
Wellbeing content is general education. We do not diagnose, prescribe or promise clinical outcomes. Where relevant, we refer readers to NHS guidance. Readers with individual health concerns should seek appropriate professional advice rather than rely on a lifestyle article. We avoid describing routine products as treatments without a sound basis.
Photography and publication dates
Licensed stock photographs illustrate home settings, activities and everyday situations. A photograph does not establish that a location belongs to the publication or that a pictured product has been tested. Image descriptions aim to identify the visible scene accurately.
Article dates identify the edition’s editorial publication schedule. They are not a claim that the website was publicly available before its launch. An updated date changes when substantive editorial changes are made; cosmetic adjustments do not by themselves imply that every factual detail has been rechecked.
Commercial transparency and corrections
Our Affiliate Disclosure describes the current status of merchant links and the labelling required for future commercial arrangements. A paid placement or supplied product must be disclosed where relevant. Commercial potential is not evidence of a product’s suitability.
To report a factual error, contact hello@thelifestyleblogeruk.com with the article URL, the statement and supporting evidence. We assess credible reports, correct established errors and add clarification where it is needed to avoid misleading readers. Material corrections should be identifiable within the affected article.
